AS part of the drive to provide refreshing moment and a lasting energy to Nigerians, Lucozade Boost, a premium brand from the stable of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria Plc (GSK) has supported the 43rd passing out parade of the Nigerian Army Cadet Corps, Yaba College of Technology.
The event which took place at the Sports Complex of the institution had other cadets from University of Lagos, Lagos State University, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and across other states of the Federation in attendance.
Speaking at the ceremony, Brand Manager Lucozade Boost, Funmi Aluko said that, “the celebration is a laudable initiative of the Nigerian Army towards educating and allowing students to have a sense of belonging as well as ensure adequate security of life and property on campus and in our communities generally. As a company with the vision to support activities that promote human life and general wellbeing of people, we have deemed it fit to refresh and energize the Cadets with Lucozade Boost during their passing out parade.”
She added that, Lucozade Boost has proven to speed up recovery of lost energy and refreshes the body after any noble exercise. Also commenting at the ceremony, Cadet Major Iyeh Joseph stated that, “I must first commend GSK, makers of Lucozade Boost for the spirited efforts they always put up any time there is call for them to support any activity that has to do with promoting and protecting human life. What we are witnessing today is vital to maintaining security of life and property.”
He further explained that all the officers were trained on how to maintain peace, security and truth wherever they may find themselves.
Cadet Iyeh also commended GSK Lucozade Boost for providing lasting refreshment and energy to Nigerians to enable them perform their daily activities.
