DANA Airlines Limited has commanced flight operations to the city of Port Harcourt.
This brings to five the total number of cities currently serviced by the airline within ten months of its operations. The other cities are Abuja, Enugu, Kano and Lagos.
“We are greatly delighted to extend our operations to Port Harcourt city”, said Jacky Hathiramani, chief executive officer of Dana Air. “We feel very proud that within 10 months of operations we have been able to bring our world class services to five major destinations across the country, and we look forward to expanding our operations even further, covering more local and regional destinations,” he added.
Hathiramani said the airline, which currently operates 18 daily flights on all routes, would operate a return flight to Port Harcourt daily, from its operational base at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), Lagos.
His words: “From September 14, 2009, we will operate one daily flight to Port Harcourt at 10:35hrs, with a return flight at 12:15hrs; flight frequencies on the route will be increased with time.”
Dana Air’s vision is to be recognized and respected as Nigeria ’s most reliable and customer-friendly airline, and this, says Hathiramani, “we will achieve by consistently demonstrating our commitment to service, and providing affordable regional air transport services that focus on innovation, quality and service excellence.”
