SO&U Saatchi & Saatchi, one of Nigeria’s leading marketing communication companies, has been commended for its tremendous support to The National Youth Service Corp, NYSC in the area of accommodating Youth Corpers posted to the agency and also  retaining most of them as permanent staff. This applause was made by the Lagos State Coordinator of NYSC, Mr. Anthony Ani.
Ani gave this commendation during a ‘Thank You’ visit to SO&U head office in Lagos recently. He noted that, the Agency’s commitment to grooming of young graduates fresh from higher institutions as Youth Corpers is a commendable policy in the right direction which other organizations should emulate.
According to the Coordinator, “my visit is to thank SO&U for its tremendous support to NYSC in terms of not only accommodating Youth Corpers posted to you but more importantly offering some of them that performed well permanent career placement. Indeed, SO&U remains one of our best partners and that is why I’m here together with my team to personally acknowledge your good gesture towards the development of our youth”. 
In her welcome address, SO&U’s Finance Director, Mrs. Bukky Adebiyi, who stood in for the Group Managing Director, Udeme Ufot, noted that SO&U Saatchi & Saatchi Group in Nigeria has remained committed to the objective of NYSC with a steadfast belief in the Nigerian project. She observed that currently the Group has about 10 serving Youth Corpers in various teams within the agency. She also noted that the agency parades some of its current top executives that joined as Youth Corpers years back - like the Head of Creative, Anthony Ekun; Head of Print and Digital Production, Joe Ulaeto and Head of Electronic Media Production Services Tolu Ajayi, respectively.
Adebiyi stated that, “We are doing all these because we believe there is a future for our youth, country and therefore a future for us”. She applauded the NYSC’s efforts in encouraging young graduates to have a first hand work experience at different localities within the country.
