IN the spirit of continuous celebration, Guinness Nigeria Plc is again set to light up the cities of Calabar and Owerri with excitement and glamour aimed at fraternizing with its teeming consumers.
The event, tagged ‘Guinness Carnival’ will last for 10 days with a 4 day in-bar promotion starting from Monday May 4th 2009 in each of the cities, following with a non-stop fun-filled ten day musical carnival where Calabar and Owerri indigenes will experience the biggest thrill ever.
Guinness Carnival is geared towards associating Guinness brands with Nigerians and most especially its loyal consumers in the Home of Hospitality and Owerri. It is an opportunity to give a life time experience of world class quality of brands and also to provide a unique platform for consumers to unwind in order to demonstrate authenticity and goodness they are made of.
The Guinness carnival will also be experienced in other cities like Uyo, Enugu, Umuahia and Abakaliki at a latter date. Commenting on the rationale for the Carnival Mr. Emma Agu, Brand Manager Harp says the essence is to associate with consumers during the Easter celebration and to allow people express their trueness, which is one of the core values of the brand.
Corroborating Agu’s comment, Mr. Tunji Folayan, Marketing Manager (RTD) said: ‘Harp lager is a known brand of authenticity and realness that allow people to freely express themselves and demonstrate the trueness in them’ The harp brand, whose equity is being continually raised through innovation, is contemporary and perfect for the modern man. Its personality is sociable, friendly, trustworthy and vibrant. It reflects the status of the today man and gives assurance of world class quality.
